Kitty Bee Christmas Fun!

Hello, my friends!

Recently I was thrilled to be invited to join the design team of Kitty Bee Designs.
Beginning in January I will be sharing two posts with you every month.
One will be for the Kitty Bee Challenge blog,
and one will be an inspiration post.

Today is an inspiration/announcement post.

I used this cute Teddy Bear image and altered it for the season.
Normally this guy is heading for the beehive hanging in the tree.
This time of year, he is hanging lights and decorating for Christmas.
Isn't he cute?

Materials Used:
Papers: Basic Grey - Jovial, Recollections - Cardstock;

A Very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that are celebrating today!
I'm celebrating right along with you...but without the delicious turkey dinner! ;o)

In honour of this special day, I made you all a card.
This is put together using two sets from Deedee's Digis.
The cute character is from the set called "Fall Warm-up"
and the sentiment came from "We Give Thanks".

Winter Wishes - Cards and More DT

Hello, my friends!

Today it's my turn to share a project over at the Cards and More Shop blog.
It's my first one...and I'm quite excited! :o)

I made a fun pocket card using a fantastic template.
This template is so versatile, and could be used for any celebration.

Here is my pocket card:

Isn't that paper beautiful?
I added the sentiment with a stamp from my stash.
This is the first time I've used Maja papers, and they're a joy to work with!
All of the edges were distressed with both the distressing tool, and ink.
The insert is the perfect place to add your private message, or gift card.
Here it is with the insert pulled out.

Here's a close-up of the poinsettias.
I created them using the Spellbinders die.
I added liquid pearls to the centers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Please let me know if you have any questions!

Christmas Joy in the Air!

Hello, my friends!
A big welcome to all my new friends! :o)

WOOHOO...it has finally arrived!!
Yes, my snow is here! :o)
My husband does not share my joy, as he has to shovel and drive in it.
Perhaps I will try to muffle my exuberance! lol

Today I have a Christmas card to share with you.
This beautiful pre-colored image set is from Deedee's Digis.
It is called Ornamental (Icy).
It's such a pretty and versatile set, and even includes two patterned papers.
I used one of them on my card, as well as one of the sentiments from the set.
The white mat on the top portion of the card was embossed but it's not showing up in the photos.

All of the embellishments came from Where Ideas Bloom.
I used the metallic cord, three different types of sequins, and the fabulous silver bow.
All the links are below.
This photo shows the sparkle a little bit better!

Materials Used:

Now I'd like to share my project with you!
I created a Christmas Carol album:

The covers are made with corrugated cardboard.
It has been dry brushed with gesso to give it a snowy feel.
I die-cut some layers and added the image on top.
Then I embellished with some poinsettias and leaves.

Here is a close-up of the image.
I added stickles to the fur trim, and glossy accents to the lantern.

I stamped the inside front cover, and all the kraft pages, with music notes.
Then I added some Christmas paper from my stash.

I printed out some of my favorite Christmas carols and adhered them to the pages.

I will only show you a few of the many pages.

I alternated the pages with green and red music notes.

The inside back cover is the same as the front.

For the back cover, I turned the lines of the corrugated cardboard to go the other way.
