Happy Birthday Blog Hop For Denise at The Project Bin

Hello, my friends!

Welcome to Denise's Birthday Blog Hop!
You should have arrived here from Dawn's blog!

Today The Project Bin's Design Team is celebrating the birthday of Denise,
owner and designer of The Project Bin stamps!

You may have seen the recent post announcing that I had stepped down from the DT.
I may no longer be a DT member
but I didn't want to miss out on this opportunity to celebrate Denise's special day!

Each of us have created a special card for the occasion, featuring a stamp set from The Project Bin.
I have chosen a stamp from the Jukebox Birthday Stamp Set.

Here is the card that I created:

Happy, Happy Birthday to you, Denise!
I hope you have a beautiful day of celebration! :o)

Merry Christmas Tree with Swedish House Crafts

Hello, my friends!

Do you feel the excitement in the air?
Christmas Day is coming very fast now, isn't it?
It's such a beautiful time of year!

I'm fitting in one final card for Swedish House Crafts!

I created a kraft card base, and then layered it with the beautiful  Maja Designs I Wish papers.
I stamped and die-cut the tree from the kraft cardstock, and then did the same with the sentiment.
They were both layered on more of the Maja papers.
The tree was backed with a die-cut oval.

Here's a closer look at the oval.
I just had to add these adorable little birds to the tree.
They were die-cut using a new Gummiapan die.
Aren't they sweet?

Here's a closer look at the stamped sentiment too.
Gummiapan stamps are always so crisp and clear!
Both the oval and the sentiment were added with foam tape to give some extra dimension.

Finally, I added a pretty red ribbon to the top of the card.

I'd like to take this time to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!
May you have a wonderful time of blessings with your family and friends!
I'll see you all back here again in the new year! :o)

This is an old post and I'm not sure why that happened.
Sometimes blogger baffles me! :o)

Happy Wednesday, my friends!

Today I am sharing two Christmas cards for The Project Bin!

I have made the tough decision to step down from the team.

For my second card I used the beautiful Joyful Song Stamp Set.

I just did some simple layering with some of my favorite Christmas papers.

I used my piercing tool to pierce holes around the edge of each layer.

Finally, I added some pretty black rhinestones.

Papers: My Mind's Eye - Naughty or Nice;
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black;
Tools: Piercing Tool;
Bling: Kaisercraft - Black Rhinestones.

Gingerbread Merry Christmas with Swedish House Crafts

Hello, my friends!

I hope you're all enjoying this wonderful season! I love it!
Just remember to take time to enjoy it all...and not to stress over the little things! :o)

If you've still got some cards to make then here's a good idea for you.
It goes together very quickly,
and a couple of elegant touches make it more special for the season.
I also have a discount code for you in the bottom of this post!

I began with these wonderful Home for the Holiday papers from Maja Designs.
I just had to use the gingerbread design.
I paired it with these fun stamps from Gummiapan.
I stamped both the sentiment and the gingerbread man in Versamark ink,
and heat embossed it in gold.
Then I did some simple die-cutting and layering with the Gummiapan oval dies.
These were adhered to the card base with foam tape.

I added this really pretty double looped bow to the top of the oval.
The pretty gold ribbon adds another special touch of elegance.
(This one is from my stash but I'll link to something very similar in the store.)

Finally, I added some gold pearls to the bottom corners of the card.
Just the finishing touch!

This is a design that is very easy to make multiples of in quick order.
It's also an easy one to mail out, as there's not a lot of bulk to it.
You can switch it up with different papers or different stamps.
Have lots of fun making it your own!

Thanks so much for stopping in today!
I'll be back with another project soon!
